I was smiling because Id just seen an incredible session from him. John Achterberg, the goalkeeper coach there, and Alisson were training with Simon Mignolet. Those two were great but Alisson was just incredible.Kirkland was also full of praise for the first-choice keeper on the blue half of Merseyside Evertons Jordan Pickford.The England international has struggled this season after a fine summer at the World Cup, but Kirkland insists he is too good to stay down for long.
