Karren Brady has hailed Marcelo Bielsa, claiming he is the most remarkable manager Leeds United have had since Don Revie.The West Ham supremo believes the Championship club have finally found the‘Special One’ to lead them back into the Premier League after 14 years outside the top-flight.2

The 63-year-old took over from Paul Heckingbottom in June 2018 and is well travelled in the world of management, having taken charge at the likes of Marseille, Lazio and the Argentina and Chile national teams.He has led the Whites to the top of the Championship at the midway point of the season.In their last two matches, Leeds have shown their fighting spirit, with consecutive stoppage-time 3-2 victories over Aston Villa and Blackburn, with Kemar Roofe the match winner in both to keep them three points clear.Writing for her column in The Sun, Brady, the vice-chairman of West Ham, has given her verdict on the man leading Leeds’ promotion charge.2

And if you have any doubts about his ability to lead Leeds out of probably the most fraught period any big city club has endured, check the opinions of Pep Guardiola, who calls him the greatest coach in the world and Mauricio Pochettino, once his assistant, and start to believe.“On second thoughts, refer toLeeds two added-time victories in the last six days and you cant help but be convinced by the 63-year-old football-addicted Argentinian.“A goal by Kemar Roofe at Villa Park and two by the same player moments after Blackburn had taken a 2-1 lead atElland Roadcaused dangerous blood rushes among jitterbugging fans.“More tellingly, it meant Leeds would head theChampionshipinto the new year and look forward to taking their non-stop attacking football back to thePremier League. “Hes a fascinating addition to management in England and not just for his eccentricities.“It does seem over-zealous that he checked 3,000 players before choosing the Buenos Aires university squad of 20 or funny that he once sat on a cup of scalding coffee.
