The purpose of using VAR is to help the referees so I think it has been a help. “You will never get a system that is 100 per cent fail-safe but the key decisions that are clear and obvious have been rectified. For me, that is a positive.”The Nations League finals get under way on Wednesday evening with Portugal and Switzerland facing off in the first semi-final; the Netherlands and England clash a day later to determine the second finalist. Both the third-place play-off and final take place on Sunday – and talkSPORT brings you full commentary of all four matches from the first ever Nations League finals tournament.
