Jesse Lingard is set to play a big role at Old Trafford next season

England international Lingard has been at Old Trafford since the age of seven and there are unlikely to be any issues on either side when talks commence.The deal is set to see the attacking midfielder, compared by former Red Devils staff to Andres Iniesta, get a bumper pay rise which would boost his salary to 130,000 a week.Julien Laurens admits that going to Juventus is an option for Paul Pogba Keeping hold of Lingard will allow the club to pursue other transfer targets in the summer and help them bring in the talent needed for a top four tilt.Manchester United have been linked with moves for defenders Kalidou Koulibaly, Matthijs De Ligt and Harry Maguire as they look to shore up their leaky backline.
