Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is ‘interested’ in becoming Manchester United’s next permanent boss, according to reports.United will appoint a new manager in the summer following Tuesday’s sacking of Jose Mourinho.Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Old Trafford legend, has been installed as United’s caretaker manager until the end of the season, when he will be replaced by a permanent head coach.1

Conte is an attractive option for United seeing as he has already succeeded Mourinho previously, taking charge of Chelsea seven months after the Portuguese was sacked by the Stamford Bridge club.He guided the Blues to Premier League success in his debut season, and won the FA Cup the following year, before being sacked early during this pre-season.
