Jurgen Klopp ended his trophy-drought with Liverpool

The German ended a run of three cup final defeats with the Reds to lift his first piece of silverware at Anfield.Now, Carragher, who tasted Champions League glory when Liverpool came from three goals down to beat AC Milan in 2005, wants the club to reward Klopp with a new contract.He told Sky Sports: I think he is the No.1 at the club. What I mean by that is he is the most important figure.Sometimes in the team you have a star player but if you’re asking me now if I’d rather lose Van Dijk or the manager, I’d rather lose Van Dijk.He is a special manager.
